This is the list of cool things in the new version that you can recommend your team to motivate them to upgrade to higher verions. I am trying to provide here with the ones which are already not mentioned or known things like Fusion readiness etc. I will be covering mostly for PSADMINS, but will touch other area also. I always update the articles when ever I feel something can be added to it by editing it or in the form of comment. Feel free to comment on this too. One final and important: Before implementing in PRODUCTION, always make sure that I mentioned here is correct with your other non production environments like sand box before implementing it on your production.  The role of DBAs are growing in both directions. What I mean by both direction is that it gets diversified at the same time it requires more specialization in some of the critical areas like security, Backup and Recovery and Tuning. These are some of the areas the IT Managers look for in DBAs.
Data mining is another diversified area in which companies are spending their extra dollars into to massage the data to help companies’ growth for almost all departments, most importantly marketing, finance, and customer relationship departments. That makes the IT Managers/DBAs have to get their knowledge on Data Mining polished to the needs of the current trend. It is the start of the summer. Time for many outdoors stuff. Also time to take a break from thinking about work all the time. Since I have planned to do the same this summer, why not write something also not so related to work. Hence this one.
